When You visit...

Upon your first visit at North Warren you can expect an environment, patterned from the Bible, suitable for your service to God.     No loud band, no theatrics, just people who have assembled for the sole purpose of growing in faith and knowing Christ better, preaching the saving gospel of Christ and serving others.  We just want to be Christians.

Our mission is simply stated..."Go ye into all the world (no place, no race is forbidden) and preach the Gospel to every creature."  Mark 16:15  We desire to produce Godly homes in an ungodly world.  If you desire these things we have much in common.

We believe the words of Jesus, ..."the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:"--John 4:23   Our worship is acceptable to God when it is spiritual worship.  God no longer desires us to worship Him with physical things.   So, here at North Warren you will always find an integrated assembly.  You will not find the classification of our attendees.   We all assemble together.  Man, woman, and child all together hearing and seeing the same thing.  You will always know what your child has "learned" at church today.  If truth is taught to your child, you will hear it too.  If error is taught, you will hear that as well and you can be quick to correct. You will find us observing the Lord's Supper on the first day of the week.  You will participate in congregational singing without the aid of instruments.  You will not find a pulpit preacher or what is considered to be the Pastor.  You will find our elders assume the responsibility of teaching given to them by God.  You will find multiple male teachers at North Warren. One speaking at a time, each taking a role to deliver the message.   You will not find the assembly to be a spectator sport.   We believe the Bible teaches that all of us are to engage, edify, and assume responsibility in the work of the church.  You will find baptized young boys participating in prayers,  the leading of songs, scripture reading, and serving at the communion.  Here you have an opportunity to participate in the service without the social requirements often seen in churches today.   We just want to be Christians.

You will hear lessons that are derived from scripture.   You will hear teaching that will stimulate questions that you may discuss at home with your family.   We encourage parents to talk with their children about the message.

You will find parents assuming the responsibility that has been given to them by God.   We teach our homes are to be father led.  Churches are to be elder led, not pulpit minister led.  Mothers are to be the guardian of the home.    We believe that children are not to be peer led,  but parent led.  Our elders do not usurp the authority of your home but rather attempt to offer an environment in the assembly of the church where families may flourish.   Psalms 144:12 12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the similitude of a palace:

You will find a small band of God's children that love each other and are involved in the lives of each other.   You will be welcomed, not judged.  You will be edified not placated.   We encourage casual dress, but respectful of our assembly.  If you desire to know more, please contact us.

We hope you will join us and be a part of the mission.
